I know I am a little late on my weekend update, but work and the Fantasy Football post called!!Matt and I had a great weekend in Indiana, making several stops to visit friends and family. Saturday we headed to Lafayette for a quick bite to eat at Matt's parents house. Even though Carol just had a procedure, similar to Lasik, done on Friday, she still made a great summertime lunch of burgers and corn on the cob. Yummy!!
From Lafayette we headed to Noblesville for Jen Connolly's baby shower, hosted by her husband, Sean. Yes, hosted by her husband!! Sean really outdid himself, as the entire evening was filled with great food, drink and friends. Sean and Jen are expecting a little girl, Callie Paige Connolly on Sept. 17th, although this little girl might be joining us fairly shortly as the Dr. estimated her CURRENT weight to be 8 lbs. 10 oz. Plus or minus 10 oz., of course. I am praying (and I am sure Jen is too) for the under!!! Thank you to Sean and Jen for being great hosts, it was fun to spend the evening with the Lafayette crew, it had been too long!After we left Noblesville on Sunday, we headed to Zionsville to see the Barron's. We had a wonderful visit with them and enjoyed spending some time with Libby. We can't believe how much she has changed in the past couple of months. She is one adorable little girl. Thank you for a great lunch, it was SO good to see you guys!
At last, we were on our way home, but not without one quick stop in West Lafayette to pick up a Big 10 and a few extra bags of breadsticks. Man, do we miss Pizza Express!!

Yes, that is a dog. Matt seemed to take a liking to her, which is quite strange. Here's to hoping Lilly will be on his lap during the next visit.
