Movin On Up...

Just got the best news we can at this point - that they are going to move Ali upstairs to the post-partum rooms. What that means is that the docs think she is stable enough to keep the kid inside a while longer. That is a good thing - to help the baby develop a little more. Ali will stay in the hospital until the contractions come on stronger and the baby comes, or for two weeks when they will induce her and get the baby out. Because the amniotic sac is open, infection is the biggest risk and they will keep pumping Ali with antibiotics during the time in the hospital. They will take her off of the monitors and IV when we move upstairs, which is nice.

By the way, this is Ali's first IV - congrats Ali!
