My mom, my grandma, and Matt left about an hour ago and I have been trying to nap since, but no such luck so I thought a blog post was in order. We honestly don't have anything new to report, which like always, is a good thing. I spoke with the Dr. this morning and although my exact date of being induced has not been decided yet, it will most likely happen anytime after July 8th. My OB/GYN will be out of town for a week starting next Wednesday so we are hoping Baby Hunt can hold off until she gets back as I would love to have her deliver the Baby.
Speaking of Dr.'s, I have to give a quick shout out to Dr. Roth as she has been more than amazing. I have received a visit from her everyday, which has been nothing but reassuring and supportive. Based on her advice, I have started keeping a journal about my experience while on bed rest. I think Baby Hunt will enjoy reading about his or her journey into this world someday. The staff at Prentice has been incredible too. Matt gives me a hard time about chatting with the nurses when they come to take my vitals, but I am having fun getting to know all of them. Why not, right? They come and visit me several times a day and see me in a state that most people don't. Regardless, each and everyone has been extremely kind and compassionate. It is so nice to know that we are in great hands.
Just for something fun....a couple things I am enjoying today....
The Hunt's bought me some adorable p.j.'s t wear in the hospital and I am wearing them today. It is so nice to be free from the hospital gown and feel somewhat cute, if that is even possible. Thank you Hunt's!
I had to order a new pair of "stockings" today because mine were just getting rank. Well it has taken a while to get them, which I am loving because my legs are free from tights!!!
Whoa, have my priorities and pleasures changed or what since I was admitted to the hospital? I think normally I would say I am enjoying the great weather or a nice walk home from work. Ahhh, what a couple days can do.
Ok, back to trying to nap!! Or even read a little bit!! HUGS!!!
