While Ethan turned 1 on June 28th, we were not able to celebrate until a couple of weekends ago due to our move, getting settled, a trip to the lake and our trip to Italy and Monaco. This also gave us a chance to celebrate Ethan's homecoming from the hospital, as his party was almost exactly a year after he came home. For me, his homecoming anniversary was more of a celebration than his birthday because there is nothing more exciting than having your baby at home with you after 6 1/2 weeks in the NICU. It was a scary, stressful, and extremely emotional time that not only Matt and I endured, but our friends and family as well. So why not have a party to celebrate each and every one of the first 365 days of Ethan's life!Anyway, I digress....Ethan's Spectacular 1st Year was celebrated in style with a circus theme complete with a hot dog cart, a candy buffet, and so many of our dear friends and family. An attempt to get a picture of the 16 kids with their Vienna Hat on...not too successful! We can't thank everyone enough for not only coming over to celebrate Ethan's birthday and spoil him, but for being the most amazing support system we could ask for. The party was perfect because of you. Thank you!
