On Wednesday, I promised there would be more updates this week and I hope this one does not disappoint. As many of you know and some of you do not know, on or around August 19th, Matt and I will be welcoming Baby Hunt into our lives. Surprise (or maybe not), I am 12 weeks pregnant and we could not be more thrilled about the news. We can't wait to meet the little one that is growing inside of me; it is going to be an exciting journey. Thank you to everyone for your constant support and kind words, the past 3 months have been filled with emotion, anticipation, and excitement.
Just a quick pregnancy update....I have been feeling great! If not for a couple missed periods, a positive pregnancy test, and being extremely tired, I don't think I would even know I was pregnant. The tiredness has been a huge change for me, I am not usually falling asleep on the couch at 8:30 and sleeping until 7 the next morning, but that sure has changed. It is amazing the amount of energy that Baby Hunt is taking away from me; which I will glady give him or her. Nonetheless, I have been trying to workout during the week and just enjoy all the changes my body is going through and not being sick.
I had my 12 week appointment yesterday and everything is looking great and on track. Since Matt is out of town, my mom went to the appointment with me. It was great to have her there with me; thanks mom for sharing the experience with me. While the Dr. did not do an ultrasound (I had one at my 8 week appointment), we did hear the baby's heartbeat, which was so incredible. I thought the ultrasound was amazing, but nothing compared to hearing the baby's heart through my belly, which was breath taking. It was such a cool experience and I look forward to Matt hearing it at my next appointment. The baby's heartbeat was 168, which the Dr. said is very strong!
We are not going to find out if Baby Hunt is a girl or a boy so it will be a surprise to everyone. I will say this was something that Matt wanted more than I did, but after the decision was made, I am happy we have decided to wait until his or her birthday. It is going to be so wonderful!
I am sure there will be many more updates throughout our pregnancy, but we wanted to share the good news with everyone.

YEAHH! Jim and I are so excited for you guys! We are so excited that Baby Thomas will have a cousin that is so close in age! I look forward to sharing stories with you for the next 6 months! We love you both (well....all three of you)!
The little one is very lucky to have such excellent parents!! We can't wait to meet him/her.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you both. How wonderful that you are feeling so well, sleep as much as you can now as I have found it drastically changes :-) We really need to get together some weekend!
WOW! Congrats Ali and Matt!!! What a gift you've been blessed with. The next 7 months (and far beyond!) will be filled with so many awesome moments. We are thrilled for you and baby Hunt is very lucky to have you as parents!

Congratulations! Davis had the same heartrate at his 12 week check-up. :) I'm looking forward to reading about all of the updates! I'm so happy for your family.
Congrats!!! My eyes were seriously filling up with tears when I read your blog. It is such an amazing experience and I am so happy for you both. I am also so excited that you guys are NOT finding out the sex. It was the best surprise of my life when Addison was born. Can't wait to hear details. We do need to get together soon!
