Any thoughts on what I can do with my empty birch sleeve? I also need to add some more to the sleeve on the right with the flowers. I am fresh out of ideas and yours would be greatly appreciated!

Perhaps a bed of green glass stones? (to compliment the red flowers)?
i can't see the picture very well, but maybe faux snow and some mini-silver christmas balls?
fruit? fresh or fake... some oranges or something.
what about twigs or holly? I also love those big, colored light bulbs. You could buy replacement bulfs and then fill the "vase" with a filler and then place those on the top couple of inches.
