Whenever Matt travels, I always have the best intentions to have a productive week. Most of the time, I am extremely lazy and don't get anything on my "To-Do" list accomplished.
A couple of things on my list this week:
- Organize my recipes - I have a ton of recipes that I find during lunch or get from friends and most of the time I just throw them in my recipe box. Does anyone have a good way to organize recipes? The box is just not doing it for me. I am thinking a binder maybe.
- Start working on Christmas cards - Yes, I know it is early, but if I don't start now, I will never get them out. Hence, what happened last year.
- Clean the house
- Decorate for fall
- Organize my pictures
- See my sister and Ben - the newlyweds arrive home today. I can't wait to see them!!
Let's hope I can at least get a few of these things accomplished.

Re: your recipes, I think a binder works well or also a spiral bound book (remember that little book you made me Jr year at IU - like that, but bigger). There are pros and cons to both - with a binder you can move recipes around, use dividers. The spiral book has thicker pages (so you can tape different size recipes to them), but you can move the recipes around.
Hey Alison!
I saw Charissa Knupp over the weekend and she told me about this blog (I think Christina must have sent it to her to look at the wedding pictures). So, I googled you and I found it. I had a similar issue with my recipes and I ended up typing them all up on labels and putting the labels on 4x6 index cards so they are all the same size. It was a little time consuming, but it works. All the random pieces of paper were driving me nuts! Let me know if you are going to be in CL visiting your parents and maybe I can bring the girls over to my parent's house and we can catch up! Talk to you later!
