I ended up in Minneapolis for a night to do an investigation. Went to the Twins v. Indians game on Tuesday night with 18,000 of my closest friends. If you haven't been to the Metrodome, consider yourself lucky. I will vote it the worst of the 15 MLB baseball stadiums I have ever visited. Half of the concession stands weren't even open. Plus, they had no foam fingers left!!! They said they weren't ordering any more for the rest of the year. That's crazy!!
Because of my big golf trip to Georgia next weekend, I went to the doctor yesterday because my neck and thumb are still bothering me from tubing. It was my second visit to the doctor in the last five months, which is some sort of record for me. Diagnosis is a jammed thumb and a sprained neck. Doc said take some Vicatin for the next week and the golf swing should be good to go.
If you click the links to my college football pool - you will find out that my mom won last week and I was 4th - that's out of 116 people! Lets hope this week is as good.
As you saw from Ali's post, fantasy football is in full swing. Fortunately, I am still paying attention to baseball, as I made the playoffs in one league and am 3rd in another. Third in that league is worth about $200, so hopefully I will stay up there throughout these last few weeks.
Big game tomorrow Bears-Chargers; our buddy Miceli from Phoenix will be here and since he is originally from the Diego, we are going to go out and watch the game before he flies back west.
Finally - Big Congrats to my boy Sean and his wife Jen for popping their first kid out yesterday - Callie Paige Connolly. See the pic above!
