Labor Day Tubing

Had a great time up at Green Lake for the Labor Day holiday. Weather was beautiful each day, right around 80, no clouds, some wind on Sunday. The wind kicked up some waves on the lake which made perfect tubing conditions. We bought a new tube this year, a two-person, although you could probably fit three on there. Check out the slide show above for some crazy tubing pictures.

Highlights of the tubing extravaganza included:
  • Our first tube ride as a married couple - well first one together ever actually.
  • Matt sustaining severe whiplash from getting two big airs in a row and having his neck bounce around like bobblehead. (Still causing some pain - but I'll get over it.)
  • Ali catching some air and landing perpendicular on top of Matt.
  • Matt showing off by attempting to stand on the tube, getting his thumb caught under the handle and slamming it down into the tube. (Very mad about this one, the thumb hurts pretty bad - doc appt scheduled for Friday.)

Overall, if you haven't been tubing in a while, you should come up to the lake and we will take you out. Big air, injuries, getting wet, what else can you ask for?
