Ethan had a good weekend with lots of visits from his family. On Saturday, his Grandma and Grandpa Konneker stopped in while visiting the city to celebrate Aunt Kristi's 28th birthday.
On Sunday, Ethan had a busy day. First up was a move. Ethan has been a resident on the more critical side of the NICU since birth. Usually, the hospital won't move the kids unless they are forced to due to space considerations. Today was Ethan's day to move. They needed the space and since they don't consider Ethan to be a critical risk, he moved rooms. The only real difference we will see is that there are less nurses taking care of the six pods of kids. Whereas for the past month there has been anywhere from four to six nurses for twelve pods, there will now only be two to four. The toughest part will be remembering his new room number when we go to the hospital.
Also happening today was a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Hunt and Ethan's Great-Grandpa Bud - or Pap-Pap as we call him. Pap-Pap was in the midwest on a quick trip to see three of his four great-grandchildren as well as spend some time with his two daughters that live the midwest. I only get to see Pap-Pap about once a year since he lives in Pennsylvania, and as always it was a great visit, even though it was so short.
We have a bunch of pictures from this weekend. See the album down and to the left or click HERE.

Sounds like you guys are making the best of everything and still enjoying time with family and friends while spending so much time at the hospital. I pray that Ethan will be home soon with you guys and that you will be able to stay positive in the mean time.
The birthday picture is the absolute cutest thing I have ever seen!!
Great Pictures. Thank you for all the updates on Ethan. He is just a doll. I know you guys are going to have so much fun when he comes home.
Happy Birthday to Kristi from the Tennessee Hunts.
Love you, Aunt Becky
