Some Things

Happy due date birthday to Ethan! Today was the day. Happy birthday to Laura Gibson too!

Ali and I were up around 3am this morning watching the Olympics. Ping-Pong was on - or excuse me, table tennis. India vs. Spain. Ali proclaimed it to be the most ridiculous Olympic sport. She stated that someone with no athletic ability could play Olympic table tennis if they practiced enough. This got us conversing into why both players had their knees wrapped. How many times do you think someone has blown an ACL playing ping-pong? Right after our discussion, the Indian dude goes diving for the ping-pong ball and crashes into the soft walls surrounding their table. Just plain stupid.

Canoeing on the other hand - now that is a manly sport. We watched that on Sunday night/Monday morning. One guy, paddling a canoe as hard as he can on one knee - in a straight line. I can't wait to try it in my canoe over Labor Day.

Ethan rolls over now. We put him on his stomach on the floor, he pushes himself up and flops over onto his back. He's done it each of the past two days, a couple of times. I will not be one of those bragging parents, as I really have no clue when you are supposed to roll over. Maybe he is late, I don't know. All I know is that its pretty funny watching him try.

If anyone wants to play in the College Football Pool this year, click the link on the left for rules and the sort. The first games are next week, so email me and let me know if you want to play.

I called Laura and told her to tell Kaylee to get a move on, after all she's a week older. I even scheduled some rollover practice time!! Girls rule!!!
Good thing that boy did not go full term, he would have come out running!
Love ya,
Aunt Kate
