Word To Your Mutha

Surprisingly, we haven't posted for a while. Only time will tell if we will be able to call it a habit.

Good excuses this week however as I had a nasty cold for the first 3.5 days of the week and Ali was working late every night.

We had fun up at Green Lake with the Kidders, Berndts and Glynns last week. If only the weather was a little nicer. Still, we played a lot of cards, drank a lot of beer, and had some fun. We'll do it again when there isn't a wind chill factor. We will get our pictures up as soon as Ali goes through them.

This weekend entails a golf lesson for me (my 2nd ever) and Ali trying to find fabric for something. I think its for the baby's bedding, or drapes, or something like that. Lets hope the rain gets out of here so I can get a few holes in with Bob after my lesson.

Derby is tomorrow, I am headed to the OTB after work to place my bets. No clue who I like at this point. With 20 horses, its just a guess anyway.

My co-worker sent me to pandora.com. Pretty cool Internet radio station that when you pick a band, they play music like the band you picked. I've had one advertisement in the approximately 10 hours I have been listening. Best part is that our IT Dept hasn't caught on. As the stand-in IT Audit Manager, I probably shouldn't be taking up our bandwith, but come on, what is one person going to harm?

In case you need a reminder, Ali is old. She turns 30 next Wednesday.
